Cobra Copter has the VHS tape sound down pat with the slightly bendy synths, and The Golden Age is a pretty neat sampler of the entire scene as well as the artist's flexibility. You've got funk with "Vegas Nights", outrun in "Rebel Heart" (my favorite, with some nice contrast in the soft sections), romance in "'86 Love Affair", and a bit of vibrant tension portrayed in "Showdown", all wrapped up in 80s vibes. There's nothing so warm as that little jingle at the beginning of the intro, though. kmxexii
